Glow Worm Tunnel Evening Guided Tour

This evening tour is a guided e-bike ride from Byron Bay to a nearby township, timed for just before sunset. The main draw is riding through a 500-metre tunnel filled with glow worms, giving you a chance to see them in their natural habitat rather than in a staged setting. It includes accommodation pickup, use of an e-bike and a local guide, so the logistics are straightforward if you want to get out of town for a different kind of night activity.

You’ll be picked up from your Byron Bay accommodation before heading about half an hour out of town. Once there, the team gets you set up with your e-bike and lights, then talks you through the ride before heading off with experienced guides. The route takes place in the dark, so the atmosphere is a big part of the experience, with the glow worm tunnel as the standout section. After riding through the 500-metre tunnel, you’ll return with the group and be transported back.
