This is a beginner-focused group surf lesson on the Gold Coast, around 10 minutes from Surfers Paradise. It is designed as a one-off introduction to surfing, with a maximum of six people in each lesson, so you are not getting lost in a big group. You will learn the basics, including water safety, board handling, paddling, choosing waves and getting to your feet. Wetsuit, rash shirt, surfboard and sunscreen are included, and transfers from Surfers Paradise or Main Beach can be arranged on request.

What to expect
