Noosa Biosphere Birdwatching and Wildlife Day Tour

This full-day nature tour heads beyond the beaches to explore the UNESCO-listed Noosa Biosphere Reserve and parts of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. It is centred on birdwatching and wildlife spotting, with a guide leading you through a region known for varied ecosystems, native plant life and a huge range of bird species. Transport, national park fees, and hotel pickup and drop-off are included, so it is a straightforward option if you want to get into more remote landscapes without organising a car.

You will travel by air-conditioned minivan in a small group, with numbers capped at six per booking. The day covers a mix of coastal and hinterland environments, including the Noosa Biosphere Reserve and the more remote Blackall and Conondale ranges along the eastern escarpment of the Great Dividing Range. Expect a guide-led day focused on spotting birdlife and other wildlife across rainforest gullies, eucalyptus forest and varied natural habitats.
