Guided Outer Great Barrier Reef Dive Trip

This is a guided outer Great Barrier Reef dive day aimed at certified divers who want a more supported experience on the reef. Instead of joining a standard unguided dive day, you’ll dive in your own private group with a guide who stays with you throughout, pointing out marine life and helping you get more from the sites. It’s a higher-priced option, but the private guiding and included rental equipment make it a convenient choice if you want local knowledge and a more tailored day.

The trip runs for around nine hours and focuses on outer reef diving from the Port Douglas area. Your guide stays with your private group for the full experience, sharing insight into the reef and its wildlife while leading you through local dive sites. Rental equipment is provided, which keeps planning simpler if you’re travelling without your own gear. This trip is for certified divers only, and you’ll need at least a moderate level of fitness.
