Phillip Island Wine, Wildlife and Penguin Parade Tour

This small-group afternoon tour bundles a few of Phillip Island’s biggest drawcards into one easy plan. You’ll start with a guided tasting of six wines at Phillip Island Winery, matched with a regional grazing platter, then sit down to a gourmet lunch of woodfired pizzas, salads and fries. From there, the tour heads out for coastal scenery and wildlife spotting before finishing with general entry to the Penguin Parade. If you’re staying on the island or in San Remo and want to see a lot without sorting transport yourself, it’s a straightforward way to do it.

The tour begins with pickup from selected Phillip Island and San Remo accommodation, then heads to the winery for tastings and food. There’s also time in Cowes to look around the village, beaches and shops. Later, you’ll visit The Nobbies for a 30 to 60 minute boardwalk walk around golden hour, where you may spot wallabies, seabirds and Australian fur seals. A glass of sparkling wine is included here for sunset. The day wraps up at the Penguin Parade, where you’ll watch Little Penguins come ashore in the evening from the general viewing area, before being dropped back at your accommodation.
