Pearl Luggers Tour

This 1.5-hour guided tour digs into Broome’s pearling history in a setting that helps bring it to life. You will explore the Pearl Luggers site in Chinatown, where a restored and fully rigged pearl lugger sits alongside a reconstructed tidal jetty and an authentic pearlers store. The tour is based at Pearl Luggers in the centre of Broome’s Chinatown. With guided commentary throughout, you will hear how the town’s pearling industry shaped local life, trade and the waterfront.
