Snubfin Dolphin Eco Cruise from Broome

This small-group eco cruise explores Roebuck Bay off Broome, with a focus on spotting wildlife in a more relaxed setting than a big boat tour. The main draw is the chance to see the rare Australian snubfin dolphin, along with dugongs, turtles, shorebirds and bottlenose dolphins, depending on the day. You’ll be out on a spacious 50-foot catamaran with shaded areas, a toilet on board and commentary from the crew as you cruise.

The trip runs as a morning cruise, with boarding starting 20 minutes before departure. Departure points can vary, and you can either self-drive to Entrance Point or use the courtesy bus transfer from accommodation in Broome. Once on board, you’ll head out into Roebuck Bay to look for marine life and birdlife, while the crew shares information about the area and what you’re seeing.
