This 90-minute tasting session goes beyond a standard cafe stop. You’ll sample coffees, teas and chocolates, get a guided introduction to the world of coffee, and join in with roasting a batch yourself. There’s also a practical brewing component, where you’ll learn how the current Specialty Estate coffee is prepared in three different ways and how to taste the differences. At the end, you take home some of the coffee you helped roast.

The session runs as a guided tasting and workshop rather than a sit-down meal or casual coffee stop. You’ll try a range of coffees, teas and chocolates, with something sweet from the cafe included and water available between tastings. The hosts walk you through coffee basics, then bring you into the roasting process so you can help roast a batch. You’ll also see the featured coffee brewed using three different methods and learn how to taste it properly before finishing with coffee to take home. A minimum of two people is required per booking.
