Canberra Brewery, Wineries and Distillery Tour with Lunch

This full-day Canberra drinks tour is geared towards travellers who want a social day out without organising transport between venues. Across roughly 9 to 10 hours, you’ll visit a local brewery, a couple of wineries or similar venues, and a distillery, with tasting fees included. Lunch, shared cheese platters, water, soft drinks and snacks are also covered, so it’s a fairly all-in option rather than a simple transfer service.

It’s a good fit if you’re into craft beer, wine and spirits and want to sample a mix in one day. This is an adults-only outing with a minimum age of 24, so it suits a slightly older backpacker crowd rather than younger travellers.

The day starts with pickup from either Jolimont Tourist Centre outside the Novotel Hotel in Canberra between 9:00 and 9:20am, or Abode Murrumbateman at 9:55am. From there, you’ll travel by air-conditioned vehicle between venues, with around 6 hours and 45 minutes spent at the stops themselves, excluding driving time.

Over the course of the day, you’ll visit a brewery, a distillery, and a couple of wineries or related venues. Tastings are included, and lunch is provided along the way, along with shared cheese platters. There’s also water, soft drinks, snacks, chilled drinks stored in an esky, and phone chargers on board. The operator also includes photo stops in scenic locations before returning you to the original pickup point.
