Canberra Small Group Winery Tour

This full-day small group tour is a relaxed way to get out of the city and sample some of the Canberra region’s local producers without sorting your own transport. Over around seven hours, you’ll visit two wineries, a distillery and a chocolatier, with guided tastings at each stop. Lunch is included too, along with a glass of wine, craft beer or cider. It leans more towards food and drink lovers than serious wine geeks only, so it suits travellers who want a varied day rather than just cellar door hopping.

You’ll travel by air-conditioned minivan with commentary from your guide as you head through Canberra’s wine region. The day includes visits to two wineries, plus a distillery and a chocolatier, with tastings led by local suppliers at each stop. At some venues, there may also be a behind-the-scenes look where available. There’s a relaxed one-course lunch included during the day, served with your choice of wine, craft beer or cider. Closed-toe shoes are required, and all guests drinking alcohol need to be 18 or over.
