This is a simple full-day trip from Cairns to Green Island, a coral cay on the Great Barrier Reef. You travel by air-conditioned catamaran and then get four or five hours on the island, depending on the option you book. It suits travellers who want a reef day without committing to a more intense outer reef tour, with the choice to spend time in the water or stay dry and still see coral.
