Green Island Full-Day Trip from Cairns

This full-day trip takes the hassle out of visiting Green Island from Cairns, with city accommodation transfers and return catamaran cruise included. Once you arrive, you’ll have either four or five hours on the island to do your own thing or add extra activities. It’s a straightforward way to get out to the Great Barrier Reef without needing to organise separate transport.

You’ll be picked up from Cairns city accommodation if you’ve selected transfers, then head to the marina for the return cruise on an air-conditioned catamaran. Morning tea or coffee is included on the trip over. After arriving at Green Island, you’ll have several hours of free time to explore at your own pace. Depending on what you book, you can snorkel or scuba dive, take a glass-bottom boat tour, or see the coral from a semi-submersible. Buffet lunch and the semi-submersible tour are only included with selected options. At the end of the day, cruise back to Cairns and return to the city.
