Ningaloo Reef Turtle Kayak and Snorkel Tour

This half-day tour gets you out onto the calmer shallows of Ningaloo Reef by sea kayak, with time to snorkel straight from the kayak in the Bundegi Sanctuary Zone. It focuses on the reef’s nursery areas, where you may spot turtles, rays and baby reef sharks in clear, sheltered water. With small group sizes and guides who can adjust the outing to the group, it’s a more personal option than a big boat trip. Snorkelling gear, seasonal wetsuits, snacks and Exmouth accommodation transfers are included.

You’ll head out in a double sit-on-top sea kayak and paddle over the shallow reef areas with your guide. The trip runs in the wildlife-rich Bundegi Sanctuary Zone, where the sheltered conditions make it easier to keep an eye out for marine life. There’s a snorkel stop during the tour, so you can hop in from the kayak and explore the coral reef more closely. Your guide provides the gear, along with sun protection items including long-sleeve shirts, broad-brim hats and polarised sunglasses, and also takes complimentary photos during the trip.
