Swan Valley River Cruise and Wine Tasting Day Trip

This full-day trip combines a relaxing Swan River cruise with an afternoon of food and drink stops through the Swan Valley. You’ll start on the water with captain’s commentary and a guided tasting of three Western Australian wines, then have a shared platter lunch on board with wine before reaching the valley. From there, the day continues by coach with tastings at two premium wineries, a cheeseboard, chocolate tasting, and shared snacks and beer at a brewery before returning to Perth. It’s an easy way to do a Swan Valley wine day without organising transport yourself.

The day begins with a morning cruise up the Swan River, taking around two hours. While you’re on board, there’s live commentary from the captain and a guided tasting of three local wines. After arriving in the Swan Valley, you’ll have a shared platter lunch on the boat with wine, then meet a driver-guide for the coach section of the tour. In the afternoon, you’ll visit two premium wineries for tastings, stop for a cheeseboard, try chocolate at a local chocolate company, and finish with shared snacks and a beer tasting at a brewery. Venues and timings can change, and the coach return to Perth is approximately 5:15pm.
