Hunter Valley Wine and Cheese Tasting

This is a relaxed seated wine and cheese tasting at McCaffrey’s Estate, a family-owned producer in the Hunter Valley. Rather than a big cellar door setup, the focus is on a smaller-scale tasting with stories about life on the vineyard and the wines made there. You’ll try a range of handcrafted wines alongside cheese, making it an easy add-on if you want a straightforward tasting without committing to a full-day tour.

The experience runs for around an hour and is designed as a casual guided tasting while seated. You’ll hear about the estate and the people behind it, with insight into day-to-day vineyard life as you sample a selection of wines. McCaffrey’s grows 11 acres of vines and produces styles including sparkling, semillon, verdelho, chardonnay, rosé, merlot cabernet, cabernet franc, shiraz and fortified wine. Cheese is included with the tasting. Guests need to be 18 or over to drink alcohol, and the experience is suitable for all physical fitness levels.
