Hartley’s Crocodile Park, Kuranda, Skyrail and Scenic Railway Tour

This full-day tour packs a lot into one booking, combining wildlife, rainforest views and one of the region’s best-known rail journeys. You’ll visit Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures in the morning, ride the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway with time to stop and look around, spend time in Kuranda village, then return by Kuranda Scenic Railway. Hotel pick-up and transfers are included, which makes it a straightforward option if you want to cover several big attractions in one day without sorting out the transport yourself.

The day starts with an 8:00 AM hotel pick-up, with group numbers capped at 20. First stop is Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures, where you’ll take a boat cruise on Hartley’s Lagoon to watch crocodile feeding, then have free time to explore the park and see animals including koalas and kangaroos. Later, your guide takes you to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for the trip over the rainforest, with two stops where you can get off and explore. After that, you’ll be transferred into Kuranda village for time around the markets, galleries, shops and cafes, or other wildlife experiences if you choose. In the afternoon, you’ll board the Kuranda Scenic Railway for the return journey through rainforest, past waterfalls and through tunnels. Before heading back to Port Douglas at dusk, there’s a stop for a sunset stroll along Palm Cove beach and a drink.
